Watch out for sizes

Bought a halter for an ave. sized horse. Measured all over and bought the one they said would be the right fit. Halter is way too big, measures bigger than the description. Now they want me to pay shipping and a 10% restocking fee because I opened the package. I asked to talk with a manager and she said she would have one email me. After waiting 3 weeks for the item and then not having it fit, I will go back to Amazon and great customer service!!!!

First time ordering and will never…

First time ordering and will never consider ordering from them again. I wanted to spread my purchases outside of Amazon so I purchased on March 24; received a notice my product had shipped April 8 and finally contacted them on April 20 to inquire and I was informed that they had cancelled my order and that they had no further information on whether they would carry my product. When I asked why my order history states "order shipped" if it was actually cancelled, they gave an apology as genuine as their scriptwriter could make it. This Is my 2nd review ever and my experience with this company was the worst. Since my order I have received 42 unsolicited emails from them and not a single one let me know they cancelled my order.

Always great customer service and products.

I’ve used Stateline Tack off and on for years. Their customer service is always very friendly and their products are great quality.
I had a bit of trouble receiving a refund recently but the second time I called about it, the gal moved it along quickly.
I will use them again and again!

Shop elsewhere

Shop elsewhere in these days of online shopping, many companies are customer oriented. Stateline tack is not one of them. Look everywhere else for your item. Horrible customer service, products are not as advertised online and then when you get them you have to pay to send them back. And you can't send them back till they give you an RA number and they take forever to get you the RA number so you're almost out of time by the time you try to mail. Do yourself a favor look at Dover, SmartPak, chicks saddlery, anywhere else. Don't shop here

Not a fan of shipping

I placed my order on 1-5-21 it said in stock. 2 wks later nothing. Never shipped till 1-19. No help.

Should have looked at reviews for this company BEFORE placing an order

Very disappointed in their policy of 'no exchanges'. Really? Not only do you have to pay return the item, then you're expected to re-order the item that is no longer the same price as it was before Christmas. When asked to talk to a manager, I was conveniently 'disconnected'. My bad for not reading the reviews and 'policy' before ordering. Won't make the same mistake of ordering from them again.

I've been a customer since I bought my first horse in 1990. Never had a problem with them. Don't know where the bad revuews are coming from.

I ordered a turnout thinking I was…

I ordered a turnout thinking I was getting an additional 25%off of my purchase not knowing the prices they were showing me already reflected that while I was shopping. Very confusing I thought they were having a sale. They’re shipping was steep and the estimated time was quite a ways out. I remembered seeing the same one on Amazon. So I ordered that one. Tried calling state line five minutes later to cancel my order since you can’t do it over the internet. Well they close at 6 eastern. It was 615 pacific nw time. They didn’t answer and it also said they didn’t open until Monday... I ordered it on a Friday. I tried everything writing to them and hoping I could stop the shipment. That didn’t happen. In the amount of time it took to get this package I already received my package from Amazon, tried it in my horse... too big, took it to kohls to be sent back at no extra charge and received my refund. Through State line I now have to pay 20 dollars to have this sent back to them and an additional two weeks before I’ll see that money back in my account. Do not buy from these people especially with something like a turnout where there’s no guarantee it’ll fit and you’ll more than likely have to try many before you find one that does. Biggest mistake I’ve made while ordering off of the internet!!!!!!

Why didn't I read reviews first?!

I placed a $300+ order last week. A few hours after ordering I looked at my order on my account page... Every single item I ordered is on BACKORDER with no ship dates. I called to cancel order and was told I can't. What?! I immediately called my bank and started a fraud claim.

What a scam. How do they stay in business?

Product sizing and return policy.

First I'd like to start by saying I have never written a review before but I feel that the return policy especially for a product that was incorrectly sized is wrong. I ordered a sheet with a neck cover for my 17 hand draft cross gelding. When I tried the blanket on it fit perfectly but the neck cover was absolutely HUGE. My gelding has a pretty substantial neck being a draft cross and this cover was so huge on him that it literally hung down. There was no way I would have been able to turn him out with this cover. I called and said I was going to need to return because of the poor sizing. State Line Tack needs to look at their return policy because I ended up having to pay nearly half the price of the sheet to return. I will now do all of my ordering from smart pack because of their quality, customer service and return policy.

Poor service

Purchased a pair of boots. Tried to return them. Sent many many messages about returning them. Stateline would not return messages. Never did hear from them. Went through PayPal so they refund money but Stateline never did answer any of my messages. Even tried calling several times. Customer service would never pick up the call.

Shipping, order and return issues... stay away

Problems with shipping, difficult returns, wasted time on hold to correct their error on my order. Waiting for missing items I already paid for. I should have read the reviews before ordering. Same items ordered through SmartPak were received before the shipping was even updated by State Line Tack.

Yes, they are legit. Ive never had a problem and veen a customer since 1990. I buy brushes and grooming stuff from them mostly BECAUSE they have the cheapest prices.

Over 20 minute wait & then they told me order had shipped. Told them I had just received email stating order would not be shipped for another week & wanted to cancel. Rep stammered & I said I wanted to cancel order. Rep said they would email warehouse but there was no guarantee that order would be cancelled.

Well, if there is suspected fraud on your CC, then call your bank and file a claim on the amount. Bank will file a report, and you should have the money back in YOUR acct within 24 hours. Chase bank is very good with fraudulent claims. Always run your CC as a CC charge and not a debit card. The bank will also contact the merchant and get their side of the story as well.
